Introducing Hai Truong – Managing Director
The figurehead of Dealer Finance Group and Essendon Finance. Hai founded Essendon Finance in 2018 and has grown the business today into the Dealer Finance Group.
Hai knows dealership structures and operations inside out having worked as a Business Manager, Sales Manager and General Sales Manager at one of Melbourne’s most successful Mazda Dealerships, Essendon Mazda.
An entrepreneur in heart and mind, Hai has extensive business interests locally and abroad.
Family time and movies, preferably combined takes up what precious moments remain in the week.
Introducing Zac Dal Santo
Zac is now a Finance Broker at DFG and was previously responsible for heading up the deal processing engine room at Dealer Finance Group. Zac understands the fundamentals of getting the facts right from the start. Disciplined and skilled in the process of getting our clients the best outcome. He was responsible for keeping the deal processing moving and the flow of information between our brokers, referrers and our exhaustive array of lenders all in check. He is his own traffic management system and a crucial member of the DFG team.
Introducing Kenny Nguyen
Kenny Nguyen has been with the business since 2019. With over 12 years corporate banking experience in lending with NAB, Kenny also has a background in Mortgage Brokering and Real Estate. He has also run successful hospitality businesses all the way. Being an entrepreneur and a foodie, Kenny just fits the team perfectly. Family is the essence to which Kenny works for and NBL will always be close to his heart.
Introducing Tommy (Tuan) Dinh
From Apprentice Chef at an iconic 5-Star Hotel to Relationship Manager at Dealer Finance Group.
This journey has certainly been a recipe of hard work, long hours and a driving determination to
learn new life skills.
Whilst the hospitality industry is a pressure cooker it was also a labour of love for Tommy. Having made the cut as a chef it was time to focus on the future which saw him move to a Team Leader role within the events hire industry with Harry the Hirer. A chef is about learning how to work in a team and team leader is about inspiring and getting the most out of a team. Having worked on both sides is a real asset and a skill used every day.
Tommy answered his entrepreneurial calling becoming a business owner of a now thriving bathroom supply retailer before joining the team at Essendon Finance, now known as Dealer Finance Group.
Mental and physical fitness are important to Tommy, time at the gym and time listening to key influencers are mixed with time with his family. An appetite for hard work and driving successful outcomes are the ingredients that make Tommy a favourite with DFG clients.
Introducing Tony Nguyen | Finance Broker
Dealer Finance Group welcomes Tony Nguyen to the team. With a finance and accounting background in the resources sector, and over a decade Tony also forged a successful retail bathroom showroom business from scratch based on great staff and exemplary customer service. The latter attribute and a love for ‘the numbers’ will define his success in the DFG team.
